So far the pressure plate looks brank new. The metal where the bolts go through don't tell you anything, especially on the back side where it's not powder coated. The surface where the clutch disc makes contact with the pressure plate is what counts. The small piece I see from the picture is brand new to me. Your stuff is good.

I've never bought a clutch before but i mean i hope a brand new clutch doesn't look like that. It looks dirty. Who sold it to you?

looks like it was sitting in a damp warehouse and the metal surface had slight sufrace rust, but the surface that the clutch rides on looks new, i say new clutch that was just hanging around. safe to install

Looks like it's a remanufactured pressure plate to me. The cover or "hat" are usually reused, as well as the fingers. Your fingers sure look like a throw-out bearing has been on them before.

Funny, I was about to say exactly the opposite. I see no sign of a throwout bearing contacting those fingers.

Looks new to me, just dirty/scuffed from shipping.

I don't. The ends of the fingers look different, yes, but I don't see the tell-tale sharp circle scored into them. Lemme dig through my old pictures for a bit, and I'll show you all what I'm talking about.

Okay, I don't seem to have any pics of the fingers on a used pressure plate, only the friction surface side. So I google image searched to find what I needed.

Here's a pic showing the TOB circle scored into the fingers of a used pressure plate:

And here is a pic of the fingers on a new pressure plate:

Again, I believe it's a new pressure plate, just a bit dirty and scuffed.
