The Curb weight is in your door pillar. And yes weight is a big factor. If you could remove 300 lbs from your car it wil make a difference, it's common sence

You could always take out your jack and spare tire but if you get a flat, you're screwed.

S&S package adds quite a few pounds. But I enjoy them thoroughly.

kinda off topic, but i was talking to a guy at the races last friday, has an audi s4 2.7l bi-turbo

took out his passenger seat because it weighs 75lbs. back seats weigh 25lbs and he gutted the truck, another 50 lbs.

im sure that ours arent that heavy but thats what you are gonna have to do to save weight, anything other than that look at spending some money on carbon fiber stuff...

wait wait wait.... is your car a daily driver or a race car?

if it is a daily with the rear seat, the passenger seat, the spare, jack, tools and carpet youll sheed about 120, 145 pounds...

BUT
if you want the car as a race car

eliminate the a/c (totally) and all of the above youll shed 320pounds give or take........

btw
why on earth would you want to do that? lol

if you were gonna gut the car you should have bought an old beater and put a little money in it and then stripped that. Much cheaper.

When I removed my backseat, subs, spare, trunk trim, rear seatbelts, that was only about 150 lbs, but it made a big difference. You'd have a very hard time stripping 300# without spending a lot of money.

Picked up a nail in one of my tyres the other day and put on the spare, which I don't know if is the case for everywhere else, is one of the same 16" Enkei's, and they are really light... maybe i am used to changing 4x4 tyres but you could throw these around, not sure if there is much point losing the spare for weight reduction to be honest... a big driver would negate it
