Angry Accolade experience

I have seen some thread about the same subject, but I also want to share my experience with you.

I started to look for some stuff for my RA around february 06. I looked on internet, on ebay and also asked my dealer if he knew some company which were making stuff for Mitsubishi. I finally found Accolade on ebay. I checked there feedback score and decide to check what they were offering for my RA.

I decided to buy the fender kit and Evo style spoiler.

After a month of waiting I finally received my parts. I was so excited until I opened the box and checked on the parts. The fenders were perfect but the spoiler...my god! It was chipped and cracked on many place, like someone or something had apply pressure on it.(take a look)

Since I'm working fiberglass since more then 10 years I decided to send my picture to the company, make a claim and repair it by myself. It was the less expensive solution for me.

I repaired it, had it painted and installed.

After having my 1st email sent, I received a reply from some guy named Christopher Peterson, which was saying he will come back to me soon with an answer! This was on June 27th. Since then...nothing more. I emailed a couple time...nothing back. I called a few time there 1-800 #, and got nothing except voicemail.

I don't know what wrong with this company but I think there just some guys doing fiberglass in their backyard. I'm starting to think I'm gonna have to sue 'hem to settle this!

That's it! I hope my adventure with Accolade will help you on your choice to make business with them.

I will now still try to get in touch with them!

PS.:Sorry for my "not that good" english!

Your english is fine.

You deserve a 100% scratch/crack/damaged free spoiler.

Very unprofessional to:

1. Not call you back
2. Leave it longer than 2 months
3. Not have a point of contact directly instead of some V-mail.

Surely they'll get back to you, but still, it's not the way to do business. Your a customer and not another customer number.

Good luck!

I had the same thing happen to me .The only thing different was, the whole body kit damaged or poor quality. Accolade or their insurance didn't fix the problem.Since the kit was so bad I didn" use it. I'll take to care shows to display.

You have to wonder how they stay in business since it seems 4/5 things that leave the door look like they were installed on a car that was totalled.

yay another accolade bashing thread. I've never ordered anything from accolade, and probably never will, but bashing them online will not help your problem. There are many great sucess stories from accolade, as well as the bad stories. This probably cannot be solved on the forums, nor should it be.

Otter.. you know what to do

their 1-800 # is actually "being worked on" for the past 9 months. I emailed them about my displeasure as well, no response.

It's dissapointing to me when the admin's of EvoM tell us to deal with a vendor direct, but they have a vendor whom won't deal with them through email, nor even have a phoneline. How does one become a vendor of a site like EvoM? I don't think anyone wants to "Bash" a vendor. But when you cut ties from a customer cause they ain't happy, WTF kind of shop is that? Speaks for itself.

I just suggest you leave negative feedback bud.

Closing the thread to keep the bashing to a minimum. The OP has said his piece.
