Some guy from ontario on here entered a amatuer rally thing with his ralliart, he had some vids and pics of his set up a while ago on here. There is also a ralliart rally car from calgary sponsored by RRM and a mitsu dealership.

I've done a few rounds in the dirt. Snow tires and a sway bar are a must for this, other wise understeer plus lack of traction will own you. Our car handles it really well considering it's FWD.

Iguess that leads into another ?... Will extra sway/strut bars void the bumper to bumper warranty?

Like many have said and not to sound harsh or rude but if you are going to worry about a warranty then DO NOT MOD till warenty is gone. Some dealers wont care others will. Spin the wheel and take your chances. Me im saving for a turbo kit and only got 57k miles on my car. buy the time I get it. Iwill might have another 15k or so on it sooo seee ya warranty.

get a rear strut bar... and if your you so worried about your warranty, take it off before servicing...

maybe swaybar can void some of the warranty but how the hell a rear strut bar can do that ???

And I installed some Tein sprins and they void the warranty of my 4 struts... anyway they re gaz struts... I have use same kind of struts for over 125 000 km on my other car...

Hey guys I hope I can find some love event so My RA is sold, I'm not currently driving a Mitsu but I did had a RA for 2 + years and I love it, for diffrent reasons I won't get in too right now the RA had to go, I allways has the desire to rally my RA , The problme I fund with this is that this car out of the box to rally is no good for Produccion calss wich is what I'm getting in too , so you will have to go to Mof.calss or super stock class, went you do this the other FWD or 2wd class car as they are call, are running turbo's , LSD, exaust , supention ect. The other reason that stop me from rallying my RA at the time in a full STAGE RALLY is the cost of the car , I can't affort to destroy a 15K car today price for use 2 year o sow I started a proyect bak in Apri that so far got me almost 95% ready to rally and a full stage rally event and I'm up too about no more then 7K in cost fallow the link and see the pictures of my car .
I did promise in one of mi post befored I left that I will be back Racing a full rally stage evenet with a RA I just have to wait to the cost of the cars go down.

interesting... i wasn't quite thinking about actual rally in any type of organized events but more of a fun thing... i too have no intention of ruining my car with 4 years of payments left... i am going to get involved with autocross when i get home, one of my friends is involved with his GTI and he has fun... we'll see how it works out
