I was wondering if anyone has taken off their side indicators cause i wanted to take off the covers and change the bulb color a little ... not sure exactly how to go about removing them..

 

The owner's manual says to wrap a flat-tipped screwdriver in a rag and carefully pry them off.


Never tried it myself, so I don't know how easy they come off.

 

If your tire hits it when you are going 35 and then you slide into a wall it will come off.

 

Yeah, I guess that would do it. Hope they resolve your case soon.

 

use credit card or Drivers license, it will pop out easily.

 

how does it reattach? is there a sticky or does it fit in..

 

see that little clip on the front of mine.. Thats what holds it in.

 

hey, thats an unique way to take it off, i maybe try it later, it sound easy

 

U dont need a credit card, or a rag, or anything ... they arent glue on, they just click back in .... U have to push it forwards (or is it backwards) and then pull it out. Nearlly all new car side indicators are removable like this.
