Angry CF plate frame??

Bought this from carbon by design, and its too small..? maybe im retarded but it leaves about a 1/4in. gap on all sides between it and the trunk, not just a seem like the stock piece. i didnt bother to see if i can bump out the lock some but the spot where you have to drill out for the trunklock sits about a half inch farther out then stock and makes the lock look pretty bad like it was pushed into the trunk.

I know i'm not the first one to get this and i did i get a bad one? i tried calling but apparently they're closed today.

i'll try that in a few hours when it warms up a tiny bit and let you know. at least it wasn't to hard for me to take the stock piece off and put it back on...

EDIT: tried it, and it fits alot better, but the top doesnt line up. its like the pice they sold me has a little curve down because the corners line up but it leaves a gap towards the middle.

You should send them a picture and the feedback about fitament, they could use it to improve the product in the future.

Ralliart329,

So you slapped it on on top of your stock one? Or just... replaced it?

Thanks!
