Piggy.

Header and DP is a good choice, but the Piggy is just such a great mod. And then, if you get the header/DP next, the piggy will make them even better than they would be alone!

Personally, header/downpipe.

Once the PB is installed, it will allow to make the most out of your mods. Plus I'd rather have a full exhaust system first - but thats just moi!

If three moderators in a row tell you to get the Piggyback then you should defineatley get the Piggyback.

Piggy is a nice mod, but don't forget expensive when you now have to factor in the premium gas. Personally when I was NA, it wasn't that noticeable. I say get the header/dp. Then get piggy + tune and you will be set. Piggy doesn't add HP, it just straightens out the curve a little.

When MITVRX and reTro say get Header/Downpipe, trust me, get it

It makes no sense. No use having a piggy if you can't tune it to its full potential. That's just two lots of tuning in my opinion (if you want to tune it before and after).

But hey, im no moderator - what do I know?

Being a moderator has nothing to do with it. Just because 3 mods say to get the piggyback first does not make it the only way. Maybe getting the header/downpipe first is better. Personally, I would get the piggy first. Others will say header/downpipe. It is just a matter of opinion. Without a dyno run of the piggy first vs the header/downpipe first, there is no way of proving which is better.

Plus, if three moderators go tell you to jump off a bridge would you do it?
Of course you would because we are in charge and you have to do what we tell you.

Go jump off a bridge!

I still feel the piggyback is the better option, but there are some variables. My view is that I would buy a piggyback and a wideband, and learn to do road tunes myself, so I don't have to pay for dyno time every time I make a major change to the car. It's more expensive up front, but the wideband and time invested in educating yourself saves you money in the long run.

However, if you don't want to do your own tunes, or pay for more dyno time than you need, I can see why the header/dp would be a good choice.

Being a mod does matter...they should have asked me to be one...j/k

Of course it is always better to get every power mod you can before you go and tune although it is untrue that it just smooths it out. I have seen dyno charts that prove it picks up power in the upper RPM to take advantage of more airflow gained with most first mods. This power up top is where the MIVEC is in effect and will show actual gains all across this RPM range.
