Walmart??? Wow, i didn't even know they did car service. I am afraid to go there just to get some socks or something. I only went there in highschool at like 1am with my friends to get some free food and play football. Should of seen that one coming dude. But either way that sucks man and i'm sorry. At least it isn't costing you.

Yeah, Walmart doesn't pop into my mind when I think car repair! I'd die laughing the day I see an Evo in one of their bays!

WARNING OFF TOPIC: Did you guys know that the top 10 richest people in America have four (4) Walton's (Walmart founders) on it!!!! Yet their employees are some of the worst paid Americans with no health benefits.

How many threads like this do I have to read on various boards before people realize that any car worth driving, is worth taking care of... Wal-mart oil changes and services are barely worth doing on a car you want to sell off cheap, let alone anything else...

And a worthy mention, I personally have not spent more that $10 in a Wal-Mart in about 5 years now... One of the worst places you could ever do business with, especially if you have any concern for your neighboring business and local workers...

I went to Wal-Mart to get an oil change, but my car wouldn't clear their pit (I'm lowered), so the refused to change my oil. I said eff wal-mart and went to sears.

Walmart stripped my friends drain bolt on his S2000. After the idiot over tightend the drain bolt and split the bung on the aluminum pan, he then had the owner come down under the car in the bay and pointed out he had an oil leak! I have worked on this S2K before and it didnt leak one drop of oil! I then went to Walmart with him and talked to the manager, showed him everything. they tooks some pics, 2 weeks later he got a check for the 600.00 oil pan! dumb asses!

I might be a cheapass, but WalMart has the cheapest synthetic oil (Mobil1) compared to any other store intown (including various auto stores).

Of course, I get my cerial and T-Shirts with my fantastic oil.

Otter sums it up perfectly. There was a skit / commercial on SNL a couple of weeks ago portraying Wal Mart. It basically depicted employees falling off ladders, no teeth because of the lack of decent dental and illegal alien workers. It was pretty funny, but yet sad because it was so true.

I'd pay to have my car towed 50 miles on a flatbed and pay for my own hotel before I let a wal-mart 8 buck an hour employee touch my car. That's just lunacy. Training? Pride in their work? They don't exist at wal-mart automotive.
