I feel your pain. I always change my oil on my own with the Evo, but I took our 04 turbo PT cruiser there to have them chagne the oil as were were in a hurry and going on a road trip and still had packing to do. Drove all the way down to Helen, GA, then the car sat for a few days while we were visiting fam. Went to leave a few days later and the car was acting wierd and the oil light came on.

Checked the oil and it was almost bone dry. I was like WTF, and looked under the car. The **** sticks didn't tighten the oil filter all the way and it was slowly leaking all of the oil out. Called Scab-mart and they assured me they would compensate me for everything.

Filled it up with oil and drove back to OH. Took it to the dealer and luckily everything was ok. Scarb-mart ended up paying for eveything, including the 5 quarts I had to buy in order to drive it back home. Never again will we go there for anything but toilet paper, etc.

I mail ordered my tires and had them installed at a reputable place. Thats a better way to save money.

I do get my oil from wallmart. $21 for a gallon jug of mobile 1 synthetic.

Another reason to not use Fram. Their regular products are bad enough, but now we can see they're willing to put their name on even worse products for the sake of cost.
