30,000 doesn't have much going on. Mostly inspections and the usual fluid changes. Also involves readjusting the valve lash.

60,000 is the big expensive one. I'm doing mine myself, but if you have the dealership do it, expect it to cost you around $500, as it involves replacing the timing and balance belts, as well as the normal fluid changes.

so does 60,000 maintenance include servicing of the belts and the adjustment of the valves or it all separate charges. Just wanting to know because Stohlman Mitsubishi was pricing all that work for 1500.00.

That's a LOT of money for the 60k service. Ask them what is included with it. I seem to remember my 60k service costing me a little under $400.

$1500.... wow.

Any other Mitsubishi dealerships within a reasonable distance? Definitely shop around. If you're not against doing some stuff yourself, then just have a dealership do your timing belt change. The other stuff can be done at home fairly easily.

I know that seems really high, thats why I wanted to get inputs from you guys because I have bad feeling they're trying to milk me for my money but being that this is the closest dealership in my area and that I'm starting to feel that the car is not performing the way it should, so I guess I'm going to go though with it but is the adjustment of the valves and replacing the belts included?

You'll have to ask them what's included. For $1500, they should be giving you some new wheels and tires, too.

Do NOT pay that price, they're definitely milking you.
