Ok, this one night I'm coming up to take a right turn on this street, the light is already yellow and about to turn red, and all of a sudden I see this "flash" from this DSM that's on the street i'm turning into and he drives forward (due to the light turning green after the light I came up to turned red). Anyway, he drives forward, towards the direction that I was about to turn towards as well. So I speed up a little and come up next to him and see a "flash" again from the DSM as I'm passing. From the first time I saw the "flash" from the car, I had a suspicion that the person in the passenger seat was taking a picture, perhaps of my car. So we're both driving and the light up ahead turns red. I then locate the DSM in my rear-view mirror and it's slowly coming up to the red light. I then look to my right (he was coming up on my right side) and see this girl in the passenger seat focusing her flash camera towards me. Now, she pretty much got "caught red handed" because I could clearly see the red light on her camera and I also saw the driver and the silhouette of another girl in the back window looking in my direction as well. I would assume that the girl in the passenger seat was about to take another picture of me/my car but hesitated because I was already looking over in their direction when she was focusing the camera (she turned the camera towards another direction when she noticed me looking at them). Well then, I turned left at the next light and they went straight and that was pretty much that. At any rate, I'm wondering if anyone else has experienced this kind of thing? Personally I don't appreciate being captured by "vehicle paparazzi" if ya get what I'm sayin. Just my little rant for the night I guess. Thanks for your time.

 

like 5 years ago befor i drove me and my friends were walking around and somone in a van drove past slow and snaped a few pics and then drove off. it was wierd lol.

 

Just take it as a compliment.....they either like you or your car....and if she was good lookin i would have snaped one right bak at her....lol

 

IMO, it means one of two things, they either just like your car, and want a picture, or they like your car, want it, take a picture of it so they can find it and steal it lol.

 

it happened to me too.... I was coming off the highway and some girl in the passenger seat of a Jeep took a picture while driving beside me. Her boyfriend looked pissed but i just took it as a compliment and kept driving.

 

I would have followed them to see wtf they wanted.

 

ya i would have followed and asked them if they knew how to drive stick

 

my friend jay is our groups photographer hes always snapping pictures while we are driving, and posts our vids on u tube, snow drifts, races, drifts, burnouts and just chillen out snaps them while were driving

 

I am pretty sure that we shall meet again, seeing as Anchorage isn't that big of a city (everyone pretty much knows who drives what). Maybe next time I'll have a camera on me...and as far as following them, I had bigger fish to fry at the time if you catch my drift.

 

Whn I had a lancer with a massive audio system on friday and sat noghts people would snap my picture all the time...LOL was fun times

 

This happend right after I got the RRM bodykit put on my car.
I was driving in the city (OKC) and these 2 younger males in a eclipse pull up next to me. My windows are 5 percent soo you cant see me in my car even on the best of days, anyways the passanger starts to point at my me and my car. The light turns green and I start to drive off. The passsenger pulls out a VIDEO CAMERA and starts to tape me. The pull in behind me, wich is where my plate is and keep taping. There is this hairpin that I know about sooo I take it and they fallow. I end up loosing them do to there lack of acceleration lol. I though for sure my car was going to get jacked lol. Never seen them again though wich is good.

 

i was in a parking garage and my gf and i had literally just got out of the car and like 4 guys came up and starting taking pics with there phone's...felt pretty damn good to me! lol

 

I went to pickup my gf from work. I was early so I parked the car and went out and sat nearby the entrance. When she came out, she was like ''who are those 2 guys checking out your car?'' I look back and see 2 guys walking around the car. One of them had his face stuck to the window trying to see inside. Haha that was funny.

Another time I was at a gas station fueling up and some woman about 40yrs + came up to me and asked me if Mitsubishi cars were good. I told her yeah blablabla haha... funny stuff

 

maybe you guys should stop running red lights and getting you picture taken ahhahahaa it happend to me once but i flipped them off hahaha

 

yeah he should take it as a compliment, if they were trying to steal his car i hope its insured
