Angled Exhaust

ok so i've been toying with the idea for a while now and i think i'm gonna go through with it, i like the way the Evo's and some other cars have the exhaust on an angle at the back, but the only thing is it passes under the rear suspension insted of over it like the Ralliart's do, well i think i have this figured, i was gonna change my exhaust come spring time anyway, but i think i'm gonna do it this way, as in the Picture

I did a quick search on here and i didn't see any other Ralliart's with this setup,so might be a first,i guess?? well spring is comming when this gets installed i'mm post up pics as usual

I'd like to see if it can be done. Not sure we have the space to eliminate the bend, though, since our control arms are longer. You'd have to bend the exhaust to the center of the car to go under the control arm mount, then bend it back out towards the exhaust hole.

Yeah, that's what I was thinking. Kinda negates the point of an angled exhaust, unless you're solely going for looks.

eh i dont like the angled exhaust....looks a bit obnoxious, as if for whatever reason you want to spit exhaust fumes upward. but hey, to each his own.

by taking the bend out wouldnt you se a drop in low end since your eliminating pressure?

that exhaust would be so restricted, what in the world made you do this?

the angled exhaust looks awsome if done right...the first pic is a right way to do it

I doubt it, it's not much different than the Evo so it's definitly possible and should look pretty good

I have a little bit of angle on my exhaust on my 05 Ralliart and it looks good and doesn't restrict flow. I have a tanabe muffler on it. It gives off a great sound and good flow.
