It'll either going to:

1. Keep Showing
2. Not Show
3. Come and Go.

Just check that the air flow sensor is secured down properly. (not too hard). Check everything else is properly secured.

Mine only happened on the header/downpipe but thats a another story.

Mine has gone on... and off... and on... and off... and on.... and off... (continues to present day).

You'll likely be running the same situation. Code usually comes out as running lean. Try to get an OBD code reader from someone(I hear people from the USA go to Autozone and they get them to check the code out for free?) and then post the code here on EvoM. It'll probably be thrown in times before and we can verify

I keep getting "P0171-System too lean" with my CAI and piggyback. Now that I have a laptop, I'll be getting the converter and cable I need to connect to my piggy and see if I can't tune it to prevent that.

Intresting, I've had the injen cai on for a long time and SRI for quite a while never seen a lean code or anything related to MAF. I am however plagued with the P420 code since I've got a HF CAT.

Myszkewicz : Running lean is a scary thing....better get going on that maybe your AFR is wonky.

one thing it can do, if your car runs lean it will run much hotter than it should, possibly damaging the engine
