so i made a mistake,
i turned too sharply pulling out of a parking spot
and the driver side bumper rubbed a grand am.
there it looked like no damage (night).
when i woke up and walked to my car,
the right side of the bumper now sags, bout an inch
it looks like i snapped about 4 clips.
What do you think is the best way to get this taken care of?

 

There's a right way and a poor way...

I myself did it the poor way because I'm on a budget and just going to hold off until I get a new lip kit or front bumper.. What I had done to fix this was just get some off that bonding cement you find at walmart, the top strength one, and throw it back on. Just follow the instructions on it and do it clean and it will be okay. If you go this route realize this is a temporary fix and it will eventually happen again. Mine did when I was driving to vegas and had to pull off the road and when I got back on the concrete was higher then the dirt, and the little bump of the lip against it knocked it right back down. If you can afford it, I'd look into a better option. My poor lancer's an 06 with 23k mi, and looks like it's been going for 60k.

 

mine just hit 40 and with tape on the bumper...
i feel like i may as well have bout a geo they way this looks.
I had this plastic epoxy, lasted a few months but with the cold weather,
just nudged a parking curb and back to square one.


should i be looking at replacement clips?
i dont want a body kid for the car,
too many around. (though this is the only RA ive seen)
