Scope out tach signal please.
I'm having hella ground loop issues in the car. It's working, but it picks up noise here and there and will flash a higher rpm than the actual.
I might have to cancel this project. It looks so cool that it takes my eyes off of the road
. There might also be some epileptic seizure issues when it's flashing for a shift.

Um, I'm having another problem. I don't know if it's related to what I've done. When running at a steady pace (not accelerating or decelerating) I'm sporadically experiencing a loss of power. Each episode only last for 1 or 2 seconds. It will sometimes do it every other second, and other times I can drive for several minutes in between episodes. It feels like being in cruise control and hitting the coast feature. There are no other symptoms. No SES light. The engine does not sound any different, nor does the exhaust note. I have had my gauge disconnected for a week and am still experiencing this.
Could I have fried the ECU by drawing too much current on the tach sense line? Any other thoughts?
I did have this happen a while ago https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/sh...d.php?t=268586 , but nothing ever happened after it.

I guess I'll try fuel injector cleaner at my next fill up.
yea dude all i can say is fuel delivery. injector cleaner might help. could be fuel pump or filter. maybe even a computer problem. but u should look into the mechanical first.
go out and buy some sea foam cleaner. its in a white can and the brand name is sea foam. put that in your gas tank and also use a vacuum source ans suck it directly into your intake. buy two cans. it does wonders.
