Engine stutter?

Crappy day today. I'll try to make my story short. I am catless, and have CAI and Axle back exhaust from RRM. This throws SES light of course. It went off again yesterday and I didn't get around to reseting it. Then we get heavy rain all last night and this morning. I have a long drive to work , but didn't plow through any puddles. Exiting the last town and accelerating on the last stretch of highway, I get to about 45-50 mph and I experience a complete loss of power (no stall). Exhaust note goes from the nice "brrrrrrr" to something like "burburburburburb."

It runs fine at lower speeds as I baby it to the next intersection. I decide to reset the ECU and see of the SES light comes back on immediately.

I start her back up. No light I take it easy and complete the journey to work without further incident. Was this just because too much moisture was in the CAI?

I didn't push it, but I did get to a higher speed w/o issues.

When I first encountered the problem I was also lazily getting up to speed.

if the reset fixed it just hope it doesnt happen again, if it does get the code pulled since it will help determine what it was.

I've had this happen twice to me, and both times it was wet outside. It hasn't happened since and i've driven in a lot or rain. I wouldn't worry about it unless it keeps doing it.
