weight reducing

i'll be going autocrossing and tracking this summer and i'm trying to reduce as much weight as possible.
i searched already and found nothing i was looking for.
i know the rear seats can come out, as well passenger seat
what else can i take out to shave some weight?
spare tire..shave off the undercoating.?

There is a group buy going on for a mini battery kit in the US Lancer group buy forum, that should save you a good amount of weight off the front end.

Check the rules of whatever club you're racing with. I think that lightening a car, beyond just removing a spare tire, can bump you up into another class.

Otter is right....check the classing, but here is a list I could think of off the top:

Remove all interior trim.
Remove Carpet and lining.
Remove Headliner.
Remove Air conditioning.
Remove Power steering.
Remove Spare tire and jack.
Remove Sound deadening material.
Replace front seats with lightweight ones.
Replace all glass with lexan.
Replace hood with CF or aluminum.
Replace battery with mini battery.
Replace trunk with CF or aluminum.
Remove rear seat and seat belts.
Remove passenger seat belt mechanisms.
Remove air bags.
Lightweight rims.
Lightweight flywheel.
Sunroof? Remove and replace with sheet metal.

Do anything to reduce weight.....including yourself....go on a diet .

E2Lancer, rofl.

That was some list, bursted our laughing at the last one. The way the list is going, seems as though the car is going to weigh under 1000kgs lol.
