I heard the other day of guys putting dry ice on the sound deadening foam stuff for a while then taking a hammer to it, supposedly it just cracks off in chunks easily that way.

Other than that get carbon fibre boxer shorts and go on a diet.

Except for the hammer part that's not a bad idea. I've been trying to think of a way to remove my dynamat since I rarely listen to my stereo at high volumes anymore. Might have to try that. I've also seen video that dry ice works to remove small dents, but not sure I want to try that

Bah.....told you it was off the top of my head. Knew I would forget something.

BTW -- if I were to remove all of that stuff, a cage would likely go in the car because it would be useless to me on the street. It would be a track only car.

I weighed mine when I took them off....I think they were a total of 12 pounds IIRC.

haha i like your list, but removing power steering?!! for realz?!

oh and eh.... take out the front and rear crash bars maybe?
Power steering doesn't matter too much at high speed. There are few race cars (if any) that have power steering.
Removing crash bars.....not if you want to be safe.

does anybody sell lightweight aluminum crash bars like some of the subaru shops do? Some evo shop has to of made them. I am not sure if that would effect your airbag sensor since the aluminum is more shatter prone that the steel ones that are designed to bend to absorb energy.
