EVO X SM Lightweight Mods

Moving to SM from STU and looking to shave some weight. Anyone have any suggestions on seats? Been debating on Sparco EVO II and Bride Zeta. Would prefer sliders for co-drives. Been reading about problems with Sparco's needing modifications and that they hit the pillars. Any suggestions?

Also looking for a lightweight driveshaft. So far only thing I can find is Driveshat shop, which is cool if that's the only thing available. Thanks.

we use the recaro SPG in all the evo Xs weve built for track. fits perfect with the buddy club slider.

as for driveshaft, AWD motorsports makes a 2 piece aluminum drifeshaft which we have run in several of the track cars as well. its a pretty significant weight savings.

Just came back from the Peru Match races.
The EVo is finally working right. AWD is working and the power is there.
In SM we are down to 3400 lbs and we have a little bit more to go. Gonna do the seats next round- OMP WRCs for us.

So far we have the PFC 2 piece discs, Catback, KW suspension that have helped in the weight dept.
empty washer jug, Odyssey battery and 57 D wheels help in the weight dept.

Gonna look into the DS deal.

Looking forward to the Devens matvh race and then Nationals.

Sounds good. I have the Girodisc Lightweight 2 piece rotors, Titanium exhaust, Ohlins coilovers, AMS lightweight battery and WEDS TC105N. Considering the DS CF driveshaft or Englewood. Also looking at CF trunk.

Still deciding what seats will work best.
