lower sway bars stock on our cars?


took my car to the shop the other day and apparently i snapped mine $225 fix and they stuck better bushings on as well

 

well i would hope we would...but yes we do.

 

Yes we have front and rear sway bars. Which one did you snap? If it was the rear, you should have jsut bought the RRM sway bar and perches. To pay $225 and keep the stock rear bar = teh suck.

 

i would have just bought the rrm one too.

 

rrm bar and perches makes a world of difference from what I have read. Might as well get a tie bar while you are at it too.

Did you look at the "broken" part? I'd be skeptical of a sway bar snapping. If you know, I'd like to know exactly what broke.

 

well i noticed alot of body roll and other **** that wasnt supposed to be happening. took it to the mechanic and he had it on the lift for 5 minutes before he came out and had me go look at it(hes a tuner guy himself so he knows i'd want to see)

 

wow how'd ya break that? When my car fell apart that was the only front suspension component that didn't break.

 

My front sway has taken a major beating.. how in the world did you snap yours and nothing else on the car? Especially the 23mm front one...

 

im thinking it was from one night i hydroplaned into a curb at 45

 

I've seen them break, but haven't heard of it on an RA before now. Usually it was on older (80s-90s) Chevys that I've seen broken sway bars.
