exactly what the title says, honestly how hard can it be? i'm referring to the APR bondy kit made for the evo, it looks so simple because you basically just add the front and rear fenders on. obviously you would also have to get a wider rear and front bumper, but honestly, i would be very interested in buying such a kit. here's a link in case you dont know what the APR kit looks like, also, it's be nice to keep the headlights (meaning, not just making the rear fenders and bumper while you do a complete evo front conversion, because i dont want that) i just want a wide body RA, i think it'll look pretty mean.

I think Accolade tried this and failed or decided against this already.

Why would you want to do this!?! You would have just as much money into the kit and body shop bills as the car books for!

Excellent condition is $13,800

There is another thread about a guy who got quoted $10,000 (including the kit) by his regularly visited body shop to mold this to his evo. Its not even practical!

$14,000 car + $10,000 body kit ... Resale $10,500 if your lucky!

i think he's just irritated b/c ppl are telling him what to do and what not to do, if he wants a wide body RA and wants to spend 10k on a kit then who are we to stop him, but if he doesnt like ppls opinions then he shouldnt have posted a thread here about this.

some kid bagged his RA? OMG

yes some guy had airbag suspension, it was nasty, then some other guy had 20" chrome wheels and claimed it was very good in performance because of the wheels.

For the record, NorCal Lancer is just annoyed at the comments made from another thread about just "go buy an Evo". IMO that comment is played out but it is a "semi" free board and everyone is entitled to their opinion. Hang in there and make it unique dude.

Dude no matter what kind of car you have ppl love to talk noise. I have an evo & when I installed lambo doors I got so much hate mail about it. Some douche came to my house took a pic & posted a thread. now that was uncalled for! that "buy an evo" comment just normal retort to $10k kit.
