In regards to the 18x7.5 on my car, my boyfriend has low profile tires on his eclipse, and I've gotten used to the feeling, and it IS a bumpy ride, but really, it feels totally normal to feel everything on the road, it's a small sacrifice you guys!

well i have 17's with 225/45/17 tires on and i had to have my rears rolled, but they still rubbed so i had to get tires that had less of point on the edge, aka all seasons as opposed to summer performance. But that's only in back, for the front i'm running some high performance summers... No problem with rub now.. just a pain cause i can't get any tire i want.. only certain ones...

Just tell the guys mounting the tires and wheels to be careful with your calipers. I had my tires rotated a few days after I painted my calipers and the stupid guy chipped the paint on three of the calipers and I had to repaint them. . Just be sure to tell the person they better not chip the paint and they should be careful.

man this tread took off...nice job painting the calipers I would show my wife but then I would be rollin around with the yellow and pink clash.........o-yeah, I would highly highly recommend not getting 18x7.5 rims, ride quality will suck and that wheel gap in the front will make you look like a monster truck (maybe I'm exaggerating abit)but I'm tellin you to think it over I wish I would have I lost like 300 bucks sellin them ....

Actually, I'm ordering them from a website that a few of my boyfriends friends
ordered wheels for their eclipse, something like..1001tires.com?? I forget.. but
I'll be mounting them myself.. so I'll be careful!

Errr!! It seems like everyone doesn't think it's a good idea to get 18's at all.
I am leaning highly towards the 17's I think now.. Thanks for the advice everyone!

Ya know, the soft pink does not look that bad on a white ralliart. It actually flows well because white is a soft color, good job on the paint, it came out very nice. Those Motegis would look so nice to compliment the car, just don't get 18's... stay 17's. You will notice the car will feel slower and look akward since the ralliart doesnt have such a mean stance or bigger fender wells. Also congrats on getting a stick, I know of only two girls that actually got manual transmissions ralilarts, the others got autos. Sometimes I wish I got a white ralliart instead of black,
