Gauge question

i wanna put some gauges in my car but i dont want to relocate the radio or get the pillars. i know the dealer sells the factory sportmeter kits that go right under the ac controls. will 3 aftermarket gauges fit under there like the sportmeter kit does? i've been searching and found nothing on it.

btw, what are some good, inexpensive brands for gauges? glowshift is pretty good right?

If Glowshift is the brand I've seen for $15 at Autozone, then no.

Stick with well-known brands like Autometer, they have all kinds of gauges for any price range. Even their cheap gauges are decent.

I drool over Defi-link gauges, but they're a bit out of my reach for the moment.

What gauges are you looking to install? Oil pressure, etc..?

i'm thinking about going turbo so i guess definitely a boost gauge. the other ones dont matter as much. maybe a oil pressure, oil temp or vacuum.

i was looking in the evo section and saw the prosport gauges. there seems to be a lot of good feedback on them and pretty cheap too.

Boost gauge will also show vacuum, so no need for separate gauges for that. If I were to go turbo, I'd do oil pressure, boost, and EGT. Maybe another for oil temp.
