i decided to install the mods that i purchased for my RA. (pully,intake,tie bar). but i am totally new to this.

questions:

a. what tools do i need to buy to install these mods? (Also for coilovers installations)
b. how much am i looking at?

For the Pulley, go here

For the Intake, you'll need:

Plyers
- to remove the plastic clips holding the splash guard

Screw driver:
- remove MAF sensor
- tighten the pod filter to the intake
- screw down the intake piping to the bracket

Each one will include what tools are required. It's also best to give it a read incase for tips.

 

go to sears....get one of those 200 piece craftmans tool set. get the 3/8 and 1/2 inch ones. that should give you the right tools for most installation. for coilovers, you'll also need a spring compressor. rent it if you can since you'll be using it for just that purposes and nothing else. get some open end wrench also, plyers, jack stands and a jack. i have one of those tool box in my trunk and it's usually enough for most of my installs.
