Best testpipe option on an 04 is to find a used RRM downpipe.

you have to attach with flanges or weld the whole setup together. Flanges would be a better idea, especially for a NA vehicle because the gains are so small you would only want to run without a cat on the track.

i looked at my exhaust the other day and i cant get the rrm test pipe. my cat is connected to my downpipe and only unbolts on one side. i think its cheaper to go with a custom testpipe.

yes, it will be. a test pipe shouldn't cost you more than 30 or 40 dollars to have welded in, and less than 100 with flanges on both sides including welding some to your cat so you can swap. the 1' or so you will need of pipe shouldn't cost harldy anything, and welding flanges is pretty cheap.

The RRM Downpipe doesn't come with the option of making it a testpipe/catpipe...
Its just a straight pipe, so either way it would cost about the same to get a testpipe option
