Anyone get noise when letting off throttle?

Apologies if there is already a thread about this but I figure this is the best way to find something out thats been bugging me.

When driving, when I let off the throttle and the car begins "engine brakeing", I hear a sort of friction noise, its hard to describe, perhaps I can make a recording of it, but something makes a destinctive noise as the car engine-brakes.

It could be possibly low transmission oil level, the RRM clutch/flywheel, something in the engine itself...

I simply want to know if anyone else gets any noise whilst letting off the throttle. It seems to go away if I put the clutch down or shift into neutral.

i have the same noise, my partner said that it was clutch chatter, of possibly wastegate chatter. I have had to effects on the performance, but it seems to get louder as the car gets hotter or is driven longer. If anyone has an answer to this please let me know. I am going to change all my trans and transfer fluids and see if it goes away. My partner also said I may have an aftermarket clutch, but I don't know because I bought the car used, and I have no idea of the mods that have been done internally.
