Okay, so I got the PPI manifold back last week and put it back on. First of all, I have to say I was very impressed with the quick turn around time. I took my manifold off on the night of wednesday the 20th, sent it out the afternoon of thursday the 21st, and it was back on my doorstep before noon on thursday the 28th. So one week of downtime. The porting was a perfect gasket match, i was very impressed. So putting the manifold back on, 10x easier than taking it off because I knew what to expect. Just a tip, make sure EVERYTHING is connected again before starting the car up. ( forgot a vaccuum line the 1st time). Now, I know ppl said it would run a little hot first because of air in the system. Well it shoots straight up to the red. So be prepared to bleed all that air out, and it may take a little while. So after its all back in and the air is out of the coolant system, its time to put on the road. Noticeable difference, thats for sure. Throttle response is much improved, it feels alittle more torquey down low, and from about 20 or so stepping on it, its a kick. So I have nothing but good reviews for PPI's porting job. The only thing that I thought was weird is that the shift points ( remember I have an auto) were off a little after the install ( 1-2 was alittle low, both speed and rpm wise). But after a while of driving it they are going back to where they were. So I highly recommend this mod! come on guys, its only $65, $10 to ship, another $15 for new gasket from mitsu, so you are getting a great mod for a great price!
