Question mitsubishi money troubles

i was reading the new motor trend where they tested the gts lancer , and they where talking about how many total cars mitsu sold , it was about 120,000 last yr . i still dont understand why mitsubishi dosent have a performance part from the factory , like honda, nizmo, and trd .
if the made performance parts from the factory then i think that people what buy more mitsu , cause they dont have to worrie about there voiding anything , cause its factory bought . it would be nice to get a factory raliart turbo or a exhaust, air filter ect

Actually, MMC is doing quite well in the USDM.

Courteys of Autoblog.com

In recent years, Mitsubishi's cross-town counterparts, Honda and Toyota, have been racking up record sales and profits, with the former showing steady growth, while the latter is taking over the world. Unfortunately, the tri-diamond folks haven't been fairing nearly as well. Mitsubishi has been in the red for four years now, mainly due to lackluster products (EVO aside) and a number of scandals that involved cover-ups and quality issues.

As of yesterday, that's all changed – well, at least the automaker's bottom line. For the first time since the fiscal year 2002 (ends in March), Mitsubishi has turned a profit of 8.7 billion yen or $73 million US. The reason for the turnaround stems from a weak yen and an annual sales increase of around four-percent.

Hopefully, that incremental growth on Mitsu's part can be sustained and from what we've been told by the automaker's execs, sales of the new Lancer are a big part of it. If Mitsubishi can extend some of that mojo across its lineup, DSM fans will have a reason to rejoice, again.

... and the earnings of May 2007
Mitsubishi 11.0% at 13,651 (05/06: 11,821)
The newely design Lancer and Mitsubishi Outlander are home runs for Mitsubishi. With striking (yet, very lexus-ish) looks, profit continue to soar for the japanese automotive company. They still have a long way to catch the top 3, but this is great news for the brand,

mitsu does offer ralliart parts....they just costs 2 arms, and a leg for their parts.

they don't offer it to the usdm market directly, you can purchase the jdm parts.

i have look on the ralliart website, and cant find any parts for the lancer body style and 4g69 engine.i would rather have ralliart parts be cause they know what is the best set-up is to get better power band.biger turbo isnt always better.bigger turbos take to long to spoll up.like the dyno chart from,i think sportcompactcar had the 1000h.p. evo compared to a stock lancer evo,and the stock one had more power all the way up to about 5000 rpm.

Don't think so , people have to evolve into more high tech stuff , that's what separate us from HONDA idiots.... come on did you honestly thought you were gonna get away without torque//

Also one can compare this aut sportshifter thing to NINTENDO's new controller , at first everyone said naww it wont work they are gonna lose sales , and look now they are nailing everyone.

Good response there Migue, thats the best way to put it

Man those new lancers are SELLING, been seeing a lot of them lately. people are personalizing too. Ive seen with HIDs, different wheels, some slammed to the ground already. I even heard one with the muffler disconnected and it sounded refined. People I've talk to say that is not quick revving up, but is linear and nice
