Just venting

I some know I sold my house & moved to Florida.

Well I came back to Philly to get my car It was at the shop, The Engine shop took a whole month to start working on the engine to fit the Pistons on, bore it . Today I get a call from the shop that the machine shop called & the pistons are the wrong ones. So I have to call Ross Piston to clear this up & probly wait another 5 to 6 weeks for the Pistons to get done. I was here a month, I can't stay any longer. Got to look for a job.

Now I had someone came down from Florida pay there airfare to head down to Florida Sat with me, now I have to get airfare for him & me to head to Flo Sat.

And I have to pay to have the car ship to me due to the airfare going up to 150 in the month of Aug. I payed 50 for my friend to head here now its 170 to go back.
Plus shipping the car should be like 400 to 500 extra.

I'm on the point to strip the car & burn it. But the value is 10,000. & I payed 15,000. I don't want to lose $ Plus the 7 grand I invested on it.

I'm so frustraded. This is going to drive me to drink. I need a car to work in Florida so I'm hurt no matter what.

Crappy luck....hopefully you get a break. Just keep your chin up and all will be fine I am sure.

I must have missed it, so don't shoot me for asking....but, what happened to the car in the first place ? Your profile says Turbo....did you lean it out and eat up a piston ?

(ducking, looking for cover now.....)

Its all worth it in the end. Like Anakin said, keep your chin up and get through it. I waited 2.5 months to get my rims, yikes. The moment I got it, installed and everything, I totally forgot I waited that long.

*ducks for cover* just in case

Well buddy 4 months after I bought the car I crashed it against a Traffic fence because I was dodging one of the greatest pothole (this one was a crater)that ever existed which a lot of people break RIMS and tires.. The PR DTOP did not pay for any damage and I was pissed , that's why I didn't pay any tickets I had and my license is expired , I am planning on using the US one I have every time they stop me .. THe car was stuck in the paint garage for three weeks because it was a newer 2004 Ra and in PR they sell the cars without having the replacement in stock so for a bumper , 1 fender, 1 hood, 1 radiator + paint I ended up paying 3k and thank God my airbags weren't deployed. I paid for the car 16.5k so by then it was 19.5 K and I lost my front lip because the dealership wanted 500 for it and I decided not to buy it . I will now buy a replacement made of Fiberglass for 100. I always was positive about it and after that my love for the PR government increased. I had a friend that had 5k BBS rims with receipts and he had a bent rim . SO I photographed the pot hole (the same one) went to the court and the DTOP had to pay 5K for a new set and he gave me some for the help , you know getting even.. and we also did that with a 22 rim of a Montero, it is the fair thing to do I mean in PR for a 100 mile of the north highways you get to pay aprox. 5 dollars in tolls, but the quality of the highway itself is soo bad you couldn't possibly drive a lowered porsche /.....

Going to pick up the in - laws I had it in cruise control. Hit the gas to pass a car it boost to 15psi & a rod rip out of the block.

The problem is I ask for low compression. the shop said it had to be 1.01 stock & the pistons are 1.21 making it higher than stock. The shop call Ross But I think I have to call. I have to get all the info from then to call Ross Piston to fix it.

Thats true, when its done - it's done.

You rush things, you get a rushed job. You wait, you get a job well done.

I mean, in the meantime, get things ready. Little things ready to get the car ready. Like wash and wax, accessories, etc etc.
