just proving a point.

we need more information to help you. from the lack of technical information I made the assumption that you are a n00b when it comes to modifying or diagnosing engines, am I wrong?

not being an ***-hat, not on purpose anyway, just being my regular self. if you don't like it, don't listen. there is an ignore function on the forums. lighten up a little, and reread my posts in the thread. OP said he didn't have any mods, and that he was going to the dealer, AFTER we asked for more information. If that's all he can provide then the OP is for informational purposes and he should post up when he has more info. he said he was no mechanic, I made a comment about cutting down trees, and now you have you panties in a wad. I made a joke about crying on the intarwebz, which is obviously a joke when you look at the context and the spelling. I even made a joke with the gonkulator guy, everyone needs to just chill.

Quote: let me put it to you this way, I don't know anything about cutting trees down so I wouldn't call someone and ask them how to cut down a tree and then go try it.

I have the optional beard, but am missing the plaid clothes. I think Otter has some plaid clothes, or maybe that was Mys. I saw one of those two in someones engine bay with a plaid shirt and a beard in a pic on here somewhere. now that I really think about it I think it was Mys.

my car did this about 18 months back. I though it was the MAF. I unhooked it and it started up fine. But I wasn't convinced. So I unhooked my RRM piggyback which had been working fine for over a year, and put the MAF back on. Worked fine. The piggyback caused it. RRM gave me the run around ('we probably wont give you another one but send it in for testing if you want').After I took the piggy off, I ran better times at the track.... whatever

I would hope one of your friends you are bringing has enough sense to stay sober to drive your car I don't like driving other peoples car personally, it's dangerous and that's just not me
