yep, that's just there man. the muffler shop didn't do it, mitsubishi did.

take a look at the downpipe, underneath the heat shields and at the bend. I would suggest replacing at least your downpipe if you are serious about getting power out of the car. It's a horrible design, and you can gain quite a bit of power by getting rid of it.

ok the conclusion is my exhaust is pretty dam loud... too loud not mask out the air intake now...

i think its bc of the way the mech welded to custom axle area of the piping...its not smooth bends but rather sharp angles in welding..

when i press the gas to go... vrrroooom.... wehn i let go of gas vrrrroooooooommmmmmm ...buzzzzzzz buzzzzz buzzzzzz....dammm...!!

There's not much room under there to change the piping for an axel back. I had to take my car back 3 time to get it adjusted so it would quit rattling. It was super annoying.

yep, but it's there. not too many people have that opportunity, if you look you will see lot's of tuner cars out there with under the axle systems. I have 3" OD and it fits great
