Good luck in the Marines then. And don't take a heavy vehicle mechanic job while you are serving....just to be safe.

Many people don't realize that ashpalt is soft. When using jackstands on asphalt, you need to put a piece of wood or metal underneath them. If you have an asphalt driveway, you might as well save yourself some hassle and weld some metal plates to your jackstands.

same theory as a kickstand on a motorcycle. a guy i used to work with had just got his gsxr-1000.....it layed on its side by the time he was done with his shift

2 broken toes you really lucked out. when i first moved into my place there is this guy who is at the front of my neighborhood. i always see him works on his like 95 mustange. he was always under his car. then one day his car was there and he was gone so like a month later i see him wheeling around with 2 broken legs. then i hear that his car fell on him one day. talk about a bad day and on top of that he lives alone.

yeah. cars arent light at all. luckily i have like 5 paramedics in my neighborhood and my mom had that whole momma bear strength going on
