about hid lights

hi i was wonder how do you know if the headlights are compatible with hid

when they say not compatible do they mean itll melt the inside or is it a missing bracket? what makes it noncompatible?

i saw these lights on ebay

i wanted to put hid but the guy said i cant. is there a way to make it compatible?

When a housing is said to be "not compatible" with HIDs, that means the lens wasn't designed to direct the amount of light HIDs put out. You can still put HIDs in that housing, however, you'll have nasty glare and risk blinding oncoming drivers, or drivers you're behind.

in my opinion id would just stick with the projector lens' in the housing, i think those lights are very sexy hahaha
