Question Question for RRM's/Depo's tails owner...

Okay here's my trouble, one friend of mine bought RRM tails and want to swap them with my ES tails... okay fine but when we try to swap them look what happened

Left is the pin with the plastic that come from my ES tails and right is the pin that come with RRM tails. The trouble is the bottom of the tail don't clip like OE and the tails are pretty easy to remove...

I tried to switch the inserts from one to the other but the size of the screw was bigger on RRM's tails

Are your tails (RRM/depo) we're like this or they come with a plastic clip like OE ?

Can you take the plastic clip off of the OE and slide it over the RRM?

Take off the plastic clip, that part is supposed to stay stuck in the body (doesn't work very well.) They're a bit of a pain to get off, too. I had the same issue when I swapped to ES tails.

In fact they're a plastic clip on the pin and a plastic sleeve in the body... when I changed my RA's tails for ES one's both tails we're coming with the plastic clip.

I tried to take the plastic out, but this clip is a biatch and I wasn't home. Maybe I should ask my friend who still have the RRM tails to try it...

Take the clips off and swap them. When you got ES tails, they had the clips because the person who sold them to you forgot to take them off, and probably screwed themselves.

Have you done that Otter ???

I want to know if the RRM tails are ALWAYS coming like that... so I WANT OWNERS experiences !

I don't know if I can swap the clips as I try on the spot (almost without tools) when we try the fitment but I still have my ES tails on my car and the buyer have the Depo somewhere in is house ?!?... so if he can manage to swap clips, then we will swap our tails.

Yes, I have done that, when I put on ES tails. And no, the depos don't come with the clips, since they're not part of the tail lights. I don't get why you're so resistent to believe me.
