the ralliart blues...

So lately i've been pissed off/bored with my RA. I'm sure everyone has this happen and I'm thinking of selling it and going back to my Nismo roots when i get in the marines.

what do you guys do so you keep your head up about your RA?

I'll never in a million years get rid of my ralliart. I'l be that guy, 55 years old, takes his ralliart out of the garage, takes the tarp off it, and drive around sunday morning with my elbow out the window. Than go to work sunday in my little grocery getter jetta or IS300 or something simple.

i feel your pain...there's always something going on with my car. fix something here then something else goes bad. its still a nice, reliable car tho. i'm deadset on keeping it as a daily driver with small mods.

its a mitsu.. its always going to need tending to.
Now that my exhaust leak is fixed, i have to replace the clutch and do an AC flush on it... After that's all done I'll probably look into fixing other parts of the car that are giving me problems, not to mention i still have to buy a LC-1 for tuning purposes...

I haven't had a single problem yet. Granted I only have 20k. But still, my sister's RSX didn't make it 20k without having a problem.

^ lol.

I'm content with my car. I love how it looks and feels as a daily driver. I would love to do autox, however not as popular as it is here than in the U.S.

To the op, boost it! hehe.

1 accident.. had to wait 4 months for parts due to a large spur of accidents in the lancer family i guess? haha backordered a bunch of parts. Luckily I had my old car (Taurus SHO) to drive since I'm too young to get a damned rental.

Granted I've only had my car for about a month, but I'm with Ralliart on lsd, I'll be that guy that keeps it forever.

I can see getting burned out on the RA if it's breaking down a lot, but if it isn't, keep the bastard .

Seriously though, if you're getting a little burned out on it maybe it's time to consider some mods? Or maybe sell it and get a 08/09 with 220+ turbo'd. Personally I'll be keeping mine for at least a few years. I'll be slapping CAI, Exhaust, Piggy, Pulley, Intake on mine. Just to see what I can get out of it. I love working on it... GF pisses me off, or it's raining, or w/e in life is getting to me... I can always go out to my car and buff it, work on it, etc. It's mine and paid off... it's my baby. Always will be.
