Mine has been running sweet since they did that a couple months ago, I guess I didn't get an apprentice mechanic that day

Our engine never really idles 100% smooth, but for awhile I had my valve lash set to some "non-stock" settings, and one of the side effects was a particularly rough idle, just like you've described.

True, my cousin went through the apprentice mechanic thing and is now a great one, but when the dealer is overcharging me a lot for jobs like that I think its fair to want my moneys worth

Update, my RA is still at the dealer. Tomorrow it will be one week. As of Tuesday, they were still awaiting new adjusting screws.

I'm thankful they gave me a Spectra5 in the interim, it is actually a great little car!

Wow..... impressive. They must have found that guy at a temp agency.

Actually I wish mine was a honda then you could do it on a cold engine : )
