i dont have the rrm skirts just the rear bumper and its a bumper not a skirt, and the dealer told me that the springs are lower, b/c of the added weight of the bumper in the rear and over pot holes bumps and sharp turns with people in the car the tire rubs agaisnt the splash guard. and my waranty issue had to do with concern over the springs not the bumper, so i was hopping if the spring problem wasnt related to the bumper it would be a waranty repair , but as expected they sited the bumper as the problem, so im up **** creek with out a paddle, but im looking for some good stiff springs that either maintain oem height or raise it but the key im looking for is stiffness no lowering springs

Dude....no way COIL springs would be shot on a 2004 unless you cut them. So stop saying that because you are making my brain hurt.
Struts would go bad first.

Personal I can see an aftermarket bumper being that heavy that It would wreck your springs.

Mine when in the first 6 months I owned my car. And twice since then. They have been under warrenty everytime. I should be careful though I have and aftermarket exhaust system that might put to much weight on the springs. Mitsu dealers are so stupid. This is a bold statement but true. They find anything they can so they don't have to pay for or do anymore work then they have to.

the rrm kit rear is not a bumper...its basically a skirt add on...i highly doubt that will add a substantial amount of weight to even ruin the springs....like E2L and i said before...struts always go before springs..
this is why warranties for mitsu are given such a hassle cause people complain about the most retarded things when clearly it is there own fault...

true, bumper itself isnt that heavy, but the custom braces, brackets and metal reinforcement around the cheap fiberglass is where the weight came in it had to be done or the bumper would tear off under its own weight or fissure from any connection point like corners and screws
