when i was asking about them, people told me they were pointless and to get a front motor mount.

i would love to have one...my friend put one on his RSX and wheel hop is obsolete and im sure it'll help take some of the abuse to the motor mounts

i have a torque damper and its a waste of money, wheel hop is still there and it makes annoying clicking noises everytime i let off/on the throttle. the one thing that it actually does is make the cabin shake at idle.........well worth 140 bucks

the mounts still move. the design is inherently flawed because you are mearly adding one more weak point, not replacing the already sufficient number of weak points with stronger ones.

i had the TQ damper for a while and it helps out alot with the wheel hop. i got mine from zaklee. when i added the IM, exhaust setup, and cam gear i did motor mounts instead which were better but not necessary if youre not making the power

i have the zaklee damper and you said it helps w/ wheel hop? it made no difference at all with my car. the whole reason i went with the zaklee damper was for that reason, everyone talked so highly of it and everyone still says its a good mod but i seem to be the only one who doesnt like it

My first NSC damper broke on me too... but after a year of use. I bought one of their first dampers. Since then NSC has revised their torque damper design and I had obtained their newest design. It has held up since.

The NSC torque dampers DO work for me. It eliminated wheel hop on my car and improved my launch. I don't know about other torque damper designs, but the NSC one does do what it's supposed to do.

is it possible you dont have it on right? not to be a **** but i have never heard anyone get the zaklee before and not have good results. it gave me less wheel hop off the line but where i noticed it even more was when i downshift (automatic)
the transition was alot smoother and it got the power to the ground better.
