i bought new light for the dash of my ra ,i change them to red now to match to speedo ,but my new problem is that how can i chane the fog light switch to red and the dimmer switch to red

 

Well, you have a few options:

You need to disassemble the switch, pretty easy, just study the switch. I believe it is held together with tabs. You'll then see the bulb in there somewhere. You can either buy small rubber red "condoms" if you will, to replace the green ones on there. Or, you can take scotch tape, color it red via a permanent marker and cover the bulbs. ....or, sand the bulbs with a fine grit sandpaper and then go over the bulbs with a red permanent marker.

I went the scotch tape route and it worked perfectly.

On a side note, I removed the red "condoms" from the cluster and repositioned them to the HVAC bulbs (a bit larger than the HVAC bulbs, but a little crazy glue on the tips solved for that). I then sanded the cluster bulbs and went over them with the red permanent marker. The cluster is now brighter than before.

 

The Fog switch is easy....just look at the pics: You can mod the bulb or use some red plastic film inside the switch like mine.

 

i just painted mine with some delta cream coat tangerine mandtin semi opaque there is an evo DIY that said it was a better match for the cluster (which it is) just take off the condoms and put a layer or 2 i also did my radio and hvac following the DIY works good but my hvac bulb is kinda lose now so i have to tap it sum times (ne1 about replacement and prices?) .

how do u plan on removing the bulb after supergluing it ?? i wanan try brighting the cluster latr perhaps and will scotch tape burn if in direct contact with bulbs ?

 

they are LEDS which should not get hot enough to burn the tape

 

Does anyone know where I can get a replacement bulb? Mine didn't seem to work in the leveling switch so i swapped it out from the fog light switch (which was working) and now my leveling switch works but the fog loght switch doesn't (I mean the back light for it, my fog lights still turn on and off).
