Actually, the more I think about it, I think this guy needs to join the Band.... Street Racing is a waste, be a real man and keep your foot outta the throttle unless you are at the track... Knowing that all this guys threads are street race based, he should be s&%t-canned from this site... What really has he to offer enthusiasts here? Maybe he can get some other young guys interested in blowing away every car on the street....

thanks for all the info dudes...i think i will go with the rrm short ram cause i like torque over top end..plus i like the way it just looks sitting up there on top of block with big neon red cone filter..lol...and maybe go with a magnaflow muffler #14869 or whatever that one is most dudes get...my ra has 40k on it so i figure its broke in enough to mod some...let me tell you my "racing history"...3 speeding tickets in last year= driving school and threat to take my license...so i leraned my lesson, and like most dudes the "racing" was actually from light to light or light to 60mph...which is really useless...but i've been impressed with the torque of my ra and have left a few other imports in the dust...thought i was the man until a '89 mustang 5.0 crushed me..lol...what WAS i thinking....anyway, i will brag that i don't think the majority of other imports in our class could hang with the ra on curvy country roads which is all there is where i live..that's the main reason i bought it..handles great..but as for challenging all i see...don't do it...unless its a soccermom in an expedition who gets punky...lol....one more thing: whats good to clean high lustre lips on rims?..i have the ICW 535gm Osakas and they look great but the polished part has gotten staine and i can't get it off..thinking of getting black rims now.....

We have a great car, but a stock WRX can own a stock RA with no effort at all... a stock "Impreza" perhaps... but even then it would tight, the 2.5L Boxer is a great engine.

just a few miles east of VA Tech in Blacksburg...southwestern part of state..cow country...there's another white ra like mine in the next county so i put on the vortex gen and icw rims....haven't seen any other ra's like mine or any really..other than a yellow one down in roanoke....saw a lancer es some dude mod' (vg and wing)to look like a evo one time..it was black i think...but you could tell it was the base lancer.....what's the general feeling on evo wings on ra's?..is it a poser move or accepted..lol...i was thinking of getting one but didn't really want to have to drill my trunk and then be called a fan boy or whatever it is..

 

tried that..it works some but still has residue marks...almost like water marks etc..probably salt or crap...didn't get them until bad weather...wish i had known that i would have gone with gun metal or black...thinking of putting the icws on the spyder and get gloss black icws 5 spoke...i think black would look cool since the trim and interior is black etc...my calipers are painted blue...get lots of compliments from dudes..most don't know what the hell it is though..duh...what's a ralliart?..they say..lol...then i have to explain..no, its NOT a regular lancer.

 

Ive heard of people losing tw with both cold air and short ram but do you think when I get my pulley,ecu, and intake(still not sure which I want) will kinda equal out
