basic mods?

what are some basic mods to start with that the ra will accept without messing witht the ecu or anything?...right now i just have nothing but a drop in k&n and a magnaflow tip...i was thinking of the rrm short ram and maybe a pully...also, is the ra stock muffler a performance one like a magnaflow already?..not the whole system to the engine block, just the muffler near the bumper..i assume it is but not sure..would it be worth the effort to replace it with a magnaflow muffler?...and any noticble gains with the rrm ram?

nahh the mufflers stock, but it dose sound kinda beefy, if you replace the exhaust, go full out and get a cat back, or hi flow one, since you live in virginia, the climates seasonal so you can go injen cold air, so that when its warm and nice, you can keep it cold air, and when the winter and rain comes, turn it to a short ram, rrms pulley is another option, people swear by it, i am 100% stock with just a body kit, and visual upgrades, i can destroy any stock 4 cyl, lightly modded 4cyls, most 6cyls, and modded automatic 6cyls, and a few V8s, i cant touch stis or evos, and stock rexes give me a good run

Im about the same as you are but with a custom axleback the drop in. But i got great deal on a Piggy. Id say go with either the Injen,AEM,or the RRM intake it just depends on which brand you like better, whats your budget and stuff like that. Personally im going with the Injen cold air. Ive always been a big fan of injen. But to summarize intake, pulley, and cat back if you can afford it and you will be pretty good

The cold air is really only good for top end HP. Ram Air is better lower end. Enless you like HP in the high side of your rpm range it will work great for you. A header back exhaust doesn't really sacrifise anything except lower end Torque but has great HP and good upper end torque. A piggy back will amplifie basic mods alittle but will work better with more air and fuel.. RRM lightweight crank pulley is a no brainer. works great through out power band. Hope i helped alittle...

80's vettes? what, does everyone and everything you see try and race you? or maybe you have seen all these different vehicles at the track and have timeslips? I have never seen someone who has raced so many vehicles, on the street or otherwise. I might as well call you a ricer punk then, cause you MUST go around tapping the roof of your car at everything you see

At least warn him to put on the flame suit Dan!

If you listen closely, the baby Jesus is crying.

You've lost your mind homey... Just because they don't take off full throttle from the red light when you are next to them, doesn't make your "Race Inspired Visual Enhancement" lancer the quickest thing around...

Hell, im betting the weight of the body kit (also ghey) has slowed the car down from stock... You got some 20" chrome on that whip too?

So anything with a carburated 4cyl from the late 80's had better watch out, cuz Thegaydevil219 is coming to a red light near them...

calm down guys, im sure that body kit gives him at least 120whp and the other visual upgrades give him another 75whp..........so he should be running about 900whp if he gets a cf shift knob. make sure you get a good tune for that body kit.
