EVO wings on RAs?
Please No! don't be one of those posers that evo owners laugh at. Be original. You can make a ra looked better by using the right mods and not making it look like something it is not.

just the fact that you're questioning it means you shouldn't do it. You brought up some good points.. those v8 guys may think you're an evo, and then what? Not to mention RA's are front wheels drive and dont need that huge wing. RA's are great for what they are, and look decent as is. I wouldnt put the evo wing on it, but thats me.

oh i know. dealership here told me around 700 for the "fake" OEM one and something like 1200 for the real (CF) one. it's still on my list...but things like a tint job and an SRI in the spring are higher up the ladder.
The "real" evo wing looks ok on our cars, as it has a very thin cf deck. They fit well, don't vibrate, and have good overall quality.
The knock-offs seem too big and bulging in all directions. They just look plain FAT on our cars. They are cheaper, but you can see the quality difference.
I had one on my car for a while, but there's lots of evos here in SoCal and I started to feel like a poser after awhile. Plus it blocks all the head lights behind you making it hard to see the crown vics tailing ya!

I have a Evo wing,and i love it!!so I quess im a poser!!
if i had choice betwen evo wing and some cheap ebay wing I would go with evo wing ! it looks a lot better then some other ones . just my 00.2 cents

I think the real wing is beautiful on the Evo. Personally. Id put it on. :-\ sorry for those who dont like it(including my gf... LOL), but im the one driving the car.... you know?
everyone has different taste. its a car. its meant to be customized, obviously some things might look better on some cars than others, but this is totally subjective.

ive got an Evo wing on my RA and i love it, i did it because i think it looks great, i do get reved on by a lot of mustangs, and yes you do have to drill two new holes
and as for all of the evo guys who think RA guys with evo spoilers are posers we dont all have good credit or a large down payment, we are all enthusiasts, all mitsubishi

i'm thinking i will put the $$ into new gloss blk rims..but will say this, the ra body style being similar to the evo handles the evo wing (to me) and looks good..its not like trying to put one on a civic or something..with a vg and evo wing, at first glance for those who don't know, ra looks like a evo..and what's wrong with that?..i'd rather look like evo than a raggedy spec v with a huge dragon wing that looks like u could fly (vw gti commercial where they launch the kids' tuner thru the air with a catapult..lol)...its all mitsu and that's why they made the parts available for the ra...that's what i like about the 05 body style, u can experiment with it..not sure u can with the new 08 lancers
