Thank god. I hate lancers they give evos a bad rep, oh and they suck. And are not as pimp as a evo, and not feared by the turbo community like the evos especially the 5-speed evo ix's. When a sti owner sees a evo their always like damn that looks fast, that evo looks like its gunna **** on me in a race. And thats from past experience.

statements like these make us (evo owners) look bad.BTW, an evo is a lancer, thats why it's called a lancer evolution.
Good call, Good price on the car. 36k miles is mint considering mine is an 06 with 30k. That would be like 7k a year if you spaced it out for 5 years.
PS: need a evo act 13.5lb flywheel or a act street disc, got one of each for sale brand new hella cheap. Or shoot offer.

I think its a great price, and what 5 year old evo's should cost right bout now, plus theres a 03 trans in the fs section for like 600 bones obo, should jump on that too.
Yea, he works at an oilstop place and i was there as he changed the oil and the differential, etc. It all checked out. We also took it to a body/repair shop and put it up on the lift and had my buddy check it out. Its in great shape. Mechanically and cosmetically.
Also, part of the reason i got it so cheap is the dude is starting an unexpected family. So i figured i would help him out and get that evo off his hands quickly.
Yea, i dont really have a problem with the ecu, but i am considering taking it over to works or vishnu (both like 45 min drives) and getting thr stage 1 performance package.
O, and RA LSD.... no deal, sorry!

anyways congrats on getting your new car
damn... wish Canadian law wasn't so retarded... then we'd get some "actual" cars
Well the time has come.... I ahve been in discussions with this guy about buying his 2003 Tarmac Black Evo VIII.
The Good:
It only has 36k on it, vishnu ecu, and upgraded breakes and rotors. So I am buying it for $16k (which is a killer deal).
The Bad:
It has a puncture hole the size of a quarter in the rear bumper, 2 of the rims have slight road rash, and the trunk matting is thrashed.
But overall its still an incredible car and like i said, i am getting one hell of a deal on it. But of course it means that i am going to have to sell my 04 ralliart. It has been an awesome car and I love it, but its time to move on.
So i guess the point of this thread is to say goodbye to all the RA owners here. Although i didn't post too frequently I have been on here for quite a few years and learned a lot and enjoyed the knowledge everyone has to share. Also if anyone is interested in buying a 2004 RA thats in great shape you know where to look.
Adios
