Clean the area really well.
Slide dental floss behind the emblem but in front of the adhesive.
Start sawing away from one side to the other, the floss will break many times.
Once you get near the end, just pull it straight off, to avoid it scratching the paint.
Use some goo-b-gone and fingernails to remove the adhesive.
Wash the area very well again.
Use a claybar to remove any additional residue.
rinse then dry
Wax the area.
Call it a day, have a

I have done every car I have ever owned like this, never had any problems, unless the car is very old and the paint is fading around the emblem.

i got it done...used floss and goo gone..but it took awhile with goo gone and fingernail to get off residue
