but there are some places that are a little closer than chicago for us east boys that wont be too bad for the centrals.
We could try and do something in Pittsburgh or Philadelphia.

same thing with you bruce, been back and forth between lawrence and charlotte a few times in 12 hours. I know you guys probably don't want to do the 12 hour thing any more than I do, but it can be a little more laid back if you know you have someplace to break the trip up. my door is open...

no, you're right about that. they only way I would drive... well pretty much anywhere just for the weekend would be with at least the Friday or Monday off, more if it's over 12 hours.
it's really up in the air as far as I am concerned. last year we chose between a few places and then a few things to do in those places. that means we should post up some potential places AND things to do there for everyone to discuss. we can add a pole later and put it to a vote. as long as otter doesn't use his power to cheat

If you guys wanted to meet someplace really cool, you could wait until they announce the date for MOD 08 in Normal, IL at the Mitsubishi plant. I think that usually falls in August-ish.
