HELP! 06 Ralliart CAI

I'm new to the forum and just bought 2006 ralliart. Looking forward of doing some mods and wanted to start with CAI. Need some suggestions of what brand and model for CAI. I've been looking @ebay and they are all for 04-05 manual, is it going to be the same for 06?

There's really not a whole lot of difference between them all. From all the designs I've seen, I think I'd lean towards an AEM if I had to buy one again. Or RRM. Avoid Injen since they tend to break if you don't have filled motor mounts.

But the advantage to Injen is that it can convert into a SRI for the winter/wet season. Unless AEM makes one comparable now?

I'm pretty sure AEM's and Fujita's can both do the same.

Oh ok. Awesome. Thanks Otter. I didn't realize that Injens tended to break if you didn't have filled motor-mounts. Which I don't. Definitely will avoid that then. Thanks for the heads up.

Fujita is pretty much the same as Injen

My Injen hits its third year next month, no damage at all...IDK where u people come up with this stories

AEM is nice, gives u power all around, but overall peak Hp is given with an Injen/Fujita...now, for a winning combination, combine AEM filter element ( the newest one) with the Injen CAI for a better feel. RRMs I havent experienced, but from what I read here, its also great

P.D. Go pulley next

A number of people here have had broken Injens. The only reason mine didn't break (before I filled my mounts) is because it tore my AEM bypass in half instead.

I guess the question is...how many people with broken Injen CAI's were racing? I won't be auto-crossing my ralliart. I might track it a few times but nothing on the regular. Might that be the cause?

Ive beaten the hell outta my Injen, since 05 mind you. Its all in how u install it. I did mine in a way that it would accept a bit of play. I also didnt install the little bushing that goes to the engine itself, only the one that holds the CAI under the bumper.
