Has anyone attempted other then evo owners to change there fog lights to HID? i was wondering if these are the correct dementions and if this kit ok to purchase? I thought HID's needed a ballast and im not seeing it on this at all.

those look like it would shatter completely if you were on the highway and something hit it. I like how the OEM actually kinda looks sturdy.

Anyways just buy a H3 kit like chengstar said. no need for a projector.

well first off those aren't HID's... its just a standard halogen setup included with the projector.
Personally my fog lights have moisture in them so I don't think an HID kit would suffice, but i'd rather get a high/low kit for my headlights first.

Post up pics if you get a h3 setup.

and that sounds like a good idea but what does that really even mean, honestly, do i just get an h3 bulb and put it in there where the factory bulb is? do i need a ballast?

well an actual conversion kit would have the Bulb and the ballast, which you plug the light to the ballast and the another wire going straight to factory light harness. So if you can change your light bulb, you can install the kits.
