Its made for an evo so you would have to cut a hole almost the size of the vent in your hood. Then find a way to secure it on the underside and cut another piece of mesh for the top of the hood.

im not sure if its made for an evo tho, because right on it it says ralliart. aswell in the buers description it says:

This Ralliart hood vent panel has bigger fin openings to enhance ventilation. It gives better look by its satin silver finish with black Ralliart logo than the black plain factory panel. For use with Original Equipment hood.

if it is an evo peice. is there any other route to take in getting ventilation with using the stock hood. whats the best way to do this without buying a whole new hood. the reason im asking is because i dont want a CF hood and the only hood that i can seem to that isnt CF is the accolade one and its just to much to ship to canada.

It's an Evo piece. Ralliart is the name of Mitsu's performance division, it doesn't refer to our car. That piece will not work without having an Evo hood.

Nothing is easy to get in Canada, since nobody makes parts there. Everything has to be imported which = expensive. We really only have 3 hood options, and Accolade is the only company with a non-CF hood. The other options are RRM's CF hood with all the vents or the VIS Racing hood that CF unvented.

that sucks...well thx for the great advice, i guess i'll just keep the original hood until i can afford the accolade one, instead ill put my money toward the RRM CAI in the mean time.

He could have someone in the states buy one, fit it to their car, drive to canada, swap hoods and come back... They payment would be an extra hood? iono...

Of course he'd be paying for the cf/fiber glass aftermarket hood too.

allows hot air to vent out of the engine bay as cold air enters the front.

you do know that even if you buy the cf hood you can paint it the color of your car

You don't have to let it the way it is with just a few layer of clears, you can put color on it like any normal body panel
