Gots Da Skweekz!

So i drove to class today after work,
and turned my music off cause i heard a funny noise.
didnt hear it the rest of the way, then went over a speed bump...
i was squeeaking like ive never heard my poor car before.

Instantly i was worried it might have been a blown strut...
but could it just be the springs?
Im up to 65k on stock struts and springs...
and im not too good with the suspension stuff.
I have not put the lower tie bar or the sway bar +perches either.

Im leaning towards saying its the springs, but i have been wrong
before.

I have this issue as well everytime I go over a speed bump. It only happens from time to time though.

My guess is that is it the strut bar.

On my old car I would have to re-torque it down from time to time and it would get rid of the noise for a while.

I don't know if it's all the heating up of materials and cooling back down that expands and contracts the components and causes this issue or what.

I haven't had time to re-torque down my strut bar because I don't have the RA manual and I don't know how much to torque it down but maybe someone else might know what the issue could be.

Where exactly does it sound like the noise is coming from?

I have this problem, I don't mind it though, mines is coming from the sway bar bushing in front and in back. Just apply some thick grease to it and let it work itself in... or just drop the sway bar in back, put new grease. The front is a bit more difficult though.

this is kinda like what happened with my shifter issue.
there was an issue under the hood, i dont even know what the part is called...
but my mechanic friend and i lubed up everything and the shifting was much smoother and sans squeak.

i think bruce you might have a great idea there... ill lube it up this may when I put the lower tie, sway and perches on.
