Clutch clicking?

For awhile my clutch was ticking but only when it was idle and not moving. but lately its getting a tad bit louder and doing it when im driving. if i give any sort of pressure on the clutch it completely goes away. Is there anyway to adjust the petal? what are the side effects if there is, would it almost be that the clutch is slightly disengaged. but its so minisqual that its probably still fulling engaged?

help please!

Mine's been doing that for years. I figured it was the TOB, but I replaced that and it still came back. I've just learned to turn up the stereo and ignore it.

TOB = throwout bearing, aka release bearing. There's a possibility that the noise is coming from something down near the clutch pedal, near the firewall, but I can't be bothered to contort myself into that hole and take a look.

I have the same problem with my car, had it before and after i replaced my clutch with an aftermarket one. Came back literally 3 days after having it replaced. Did the throw out bearing, slave cylinder and flushed the tranny fluid twice to find the problem. Nothing solved it, i just live with it now... Maybe someday I'll jack up the car and find the problem.

All the things you listed are fixable. The clutch thing is fixable, too, it's just that none of use can be bothered to find the cause.
